​ “The 2nd Greatest Story Ever Told”
Through the Divine Mercy Video Series. The videos will be presented on Tuesdays during Lent, beginning on Mar. 11, 18, 25, Apr. 8, 15, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the Faith Education Center at St. Aloysius Church.
This program will end right before the Divine Mercy Novena.

I came across an article that captured my own sentiments about what has been going on in Rome since the pontificate of Francis.
While I recognize him as our pope, I feel strongly that he has not served the Church well. If you have been keeping up with Vatican News you should be familiar with the various items stated.
I offered a brief reflection of my own on each issue as well.
The article suggests what we should be praying for in our next pope. 
Give it a read if you are interested and certainly continue to pray for our Church and for the next Successor of Peter.

Every year I like to include a lesson of the Seven Last Word of Jesus from the Cross in my bulletin.
This year Dr. Scott Hahn, one of my favorite theologians, offers a meditation on each of the Last Word. I invite you to give it a listen and then prayerfully meditate on on what it means to you and for you.

Lenten meditation on Christ’s final words from the Cross is a longstanding Catholic tradition.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen preached on the Seven Last Words every Good Friday for fifty-eight years! 300 years earlier, St. Robert Bellarmine penned a series of reflections on these “words.” And before him, St. Bonaventure also offered his own meditations on these important sayings.
In this introductory episode of the St. Paul Center’s new Lenten series, Dr. Scott Hahn explains how meditation on Jesus’ Seven Last Words is not only relevant for Lent but particularly for this 2025 Jubilee Year.

​I beseech you, what will more certainly attain these ends.
